Music I listen to

I LOVE the blues, all sorts, chicago blues, texas blues, mississippi blues, electric blues, old blues, blues women, new blues. Also like alternative, particularly the early 90's; classic rock, some classical music and some jazz.

Interesting facts about me

Married, 25 year old son. Four rescued dogs: 15 year old Beavis, mixed terrier; 11 year old Sadie, mixed border collie; 7 year old Max, German/Belgian shepherd mix; AC, 11 year old stray tabby cat, (found in an air conditioner, get it?) Sonny a 4 year old ferret; Floyd, one year old curr/pit (we call him a curpit) mix - we found him as a stray pup just walking down the street. 30 gal tank with three fancy goldfish, 15 gal tank with 8 neon tetras, 5 guppies, four otos and two ADF's. Love gardening and animals (yep I'm into living things!). Employed as a neurologic assistant/transcriptionist for the same doctor for 20 years.

    Thanks so much for your kinds words. :) I try my best to understand how frustrated people must be when they are worried about their fish and just don't know what to do - plus there is a lot of conflicting advice out there (some of which is wrong) to add to the complexity! It is very rewarding to help in any way I can because I get to see people like yourself develop quickly into excellent, discerning fishkeepers.

Its just that in this one particular thread that I am referring to (are these comments private?) the original poster almost refuses to take advice, and the posts are full of "if I don't forget, if I have time, I might be able to, well maybe tomorrow" and in the meantime the fish are suffering. And you continue to be patient and supportive. I would have lost it by now! You're wonderful and I'm thrilled that I found this board. Thanks for all of your help.
